Stress can be defined as the degree to which a person feels absolutely overwhelmed to the point where he/she is left unable to cope with the day(s) ahead (www.mentalhealth.org). This feeling is also induced by the periods of pressure or tension that the human brain goes through which can be highly blamed for overthinking.  Although many of us may know what stress is, I've noticed that besides complaining about it, we fail to resist it. Stress may sound like a minor issue that may leave on its own, but in reality, if it is not dealt with in its early stages, it can result in major effects, leading to other mental health problems such as depression and anxiety in the long run. 2020 had been a year like no other.
