19 things i learnt from covid-19

COVID -19 has taught us many things over the past several months. Below I've decided to share 19 things I've learnt from this pandemic. I continue to learn from the lessons I've learnt and continue to apply them to my life on a daily basis. I hope you are also able to relate and incorporate these lessons into your daily lives too. In the meantime, don't forget to subscribe, and share my blog with your friends, family and peers so they can have a read too!

  1. Nothing lasts forever.

  2. Be grateful for absolutely everything!

  3. Embrace new connections.

  4. Not everyone you call your friend is your friend.

  5. Treat yourself as if you were your own best friend.

  6. Speak your mind, and most importantly, stand up for yourself even if those around you decide to stand against you.

  7. Don't settle for less.

  8. Don't waste your time on things you have zero control over.

  9. Don't forcefully control your emotions.

  10. You weren't built to compete with your next door neighbor.

  11. Don't retaliate the character of others just to make yourself fit in with the rest.

  12. Take rest when needed.

  13. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being selfish.

  14. Smile and be kind to everyone because deep down, you never know what someone is going through.

  15. Learn to offer a helping hand especially to those who least expect it.

  16. Learn to grant people their space especially when they need it most (this includes both their mental and physical space).

  17. Learn to respect the opinions of other people even if you disagree with them.

  18. Capture the beauty of the world you live in with your eyes, not just with your smartphone.

  19. Take care of yourself!
